Calvary Chapel of Marlton is pleased to welcome you to Hope From The Word, we'll be joined by Pastor Bill Luebkemann in a second. Pastor Bill has been teaching from Second Kings lately, and today we'll again concentrate our study on chapter eighteen. The reign of King Hezekiah was noteworthy for several reasons, including the fact that he was one of the godliest kings of this era. If you've been studying along, you'll recall just how many wicked kings there were. So, let's see the importance of obeying the Lord in all things, and steering away from idolatrous behavior. Turn to Second Kings, chapter eighteen, and we'll join Pastor Bill at verse nine… To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1698/29?v=20251111

2 Kings 17

Welcome to Hope From the Word. Our teacher is Pastor Bill Luebkemann, and he is the senior pastor at Calvary Chapel of Marlton, where our broadcast originates. Currently, Pastor Bill is leading us chapter by chapter through the Old Testament book of Second Kings. Today we begin a two-part look at chapter seventeen, so turn there if you would. As we'll soon see Israel is about to do exactly what God told them not to do. They were worshipping other gods, and this idol worship provoked the Lord to anger. Through it all God continues to warn them to turn from their ways, and come back to Him. I think as you study along with us, you'll be struck by the amazing parallels with what's going on in our own country. Here's Bill with Second Kings seventeen… To support this ministry financially, visit: https://www.oneplace.com/donate/1698/29?v=20251111
