She has won many awards and recognition for her effort including the Nari Shakthi Puraskar which was given by the then President Ram Nath Kovind. the Indian scribe.

She covered 42.5kms in 4 hours 50 minutes. Within no time, her photos and videos went viral and the entire world started talking about her. Bipasha Hrangkhawal from the remote village in Khowai district of Tripura has scripted history by becoming the First Woman Air Traffic Controller or ATC of the state. Urban cyclist and cycle tourist since 2007, Charan C Sadashivan’s passion for cycling has taken him to different parts of the country beating all odds. The Assistant Editor at The Times of India, Bangalore Centre, likes to call himself a rider-writer. Since 2009, he has been writing about cycling and cycling groups, and has penned down two books so far. The recently released book is the byproduct of his pedaling journey wherein, he has covered more than 1 lakh kms over a span of 15 years.
