Iran attacks Jordan with missiles and drones with interceptors causing fires in Aqaba and disrupting air traffic in southern Israel. President Trump vows to strike Iran’s underground Pickaxe Mountain facility, where U.S. and Israeli officials believe Tehran is attempting to rebuild its nuclear programme. The Pentagon says the campaign has so far cost the United States $37.5 billion. Meanwhile, President Trump has reportedly approved a landmark civilian nuclear agreement with Saudi Arabia. According to The Wall Street Journal, the 30-year deal would allow American companies to develop the Kingdom’s nuclear industry and could eventually permit uranium enrichment on Saudi soil, pending congressional approval. Elsewhere, satellite imagery has revealed the IDF is quietly constructing a vast sand barrier across Gaza, creating a new buffer zone between Hamas-controlled territory and areas held by Israeli forces. The military says the project is intended to prevent another October 7-style infiltration, but it is also raising questions about Israel’s long-term plans for the Strip. An online campaign urging people to track and report the whereabouts of Jewish and Israeli tourists in Italy has sparked outrage, with politicians and Jewish leaders comparing it to the blacklists of the 1930s and calling for a criminal investigation. And the Pacific island nation of Nauru has announced it will open an embassy in Jerusalem, becoming the ninth country to establish an embassy in Israel’s capital. Today’s guest is Zineb Riboua, Research Fellow at the Hudson Institute. She explains how the ideology of Third Worldism is shaping international hostility towards Israel and, she argues, increasingly undermining the West. _____________________________________________________________________________________ Sign up to receive Israel in 10 daily: https://izs.activetrail.biz/Israel-in-10-Sign-Up [https://izs.activetrail.biz/Israel-in-10-Sign-Up] Sponsorship inquiries: MisgavDailyBrief@gmail.com
