It's Bigger Than Shea Butter

Thanks to those on the front line and those who are still working during a time like this to ensure needs are met. This episode, like all episodes, is to get us to think. There is more to this virus than meets the eye. Many, even within the medical profession are being exploited and manipulated unbeknownst to them. While this is a sensitive time for many, let us remain vigilant in our pursuit of truth, while sending condolences for the losses. This episode is not meant to make light of death or sickness. It is to ensure we do our due diligence in thinking critically about why the face of the virus turned black according to mainstream media, as well as understand how the virus has been politicized and weaponized against our communities, without question. We must understand the march larger implications that are set to take us down, beyond the point of recovery. Thanks for tuning in. It's always bigger than shea butter.

America, the melting pot, turned salad bowl....Is integration natural or a man made concept? What are we fighting to maintain? Do we stand a better chance of having our needs met if we become more in touch with ourselves and less concerned with participating in multiculturalism and integration?

I am thankful for my education, but even more thankful for my consciousness. In our attempt to learn all we can and be all we can be, we've neglected to take a critical look at our position in the world and remix that education into something that directly addresses our issues as people of color. What do you think?
