Episode 6: Coach Joe Reynolds

In this episode, we were honored to sit down with Joe Reynolds, a pivotal part of athletics at the beaches. Coach Reynolds is a legend at Fletcher High School, and if you were around the beach in the last 40 years, he may have been your dean or athletic director, taught you how to drive, or coached you in various sports. He has been a wonderful role model for student athletes and beach rats alike and has served this community with loyalty and selflessness.   Joe mentions the Roland family while talking about families who grew up in Mayport. The Roland's are a generational family in Mayport who are a pivotal part of the Mayport fishing industry. Joe Roland, a local legendary surfer who is credited for helping put Jacksonville on the map, recently passed away doing what he loved.
