It's Okay to Cry
By all means, please cry. It’s to cry, in fact, this act comes with some benefits. Crying relieves stress and eases off some of the pain, confusion, and bottled-up feelings you might be experiencing. The real problem comes when you decide to dwell in this place. Interestingly, there are some people who enjoy the place of despair, self-pity, anger, etc. If this is you, please consider seeking medical attention because you really need help. (BTW, this is not a joke). When you cry, cry in your safe place(s). For me, it’s in God’s presence. There’s more to this episode so I hope you listen and share the link and episode art. Remember, I love you but God loves you more.
Dear Men, You Deserve These Flowers. Happy Father Day.
Creator's Block: Overcoming this Challenge
Sometimes, I struggle to come up with new ideas or work smoothly. Can you relate to this? If you can, let's talk about managing this thing called "Creator's Block." If you can’t, you can still learn a thing or two. A creative block is a condition that makes it challenging for writers, poets, artists, and other creatives to advance and produce anything new. It may seem like your mind is empty during this phase, but that's not entirely true. In reality, you're taking a break and processing things. Life is still happening! Join me and Wasiu in this episode as we share our own experiences and the lessons we've learned when we faced our creative blocks. By the way, we've also recorded a video of this episode! Keep an eye out for it on my Facebook and Instagram profiles, @Klevartalk!"
Loving Nigeria Despite Tinubu
You have two choices: Cry in anger and denial or contribute towards prosperity. Nigeria's 16 President was sworn into office on May 29, 2023, and most of the country is going through emotions ranging from shock, horror, anger, denial, and stubbornness. Here's a truth, your feelings are valid but none of these matter because like it or not, he that is allegedly a drug baron is now legally recognized as the President of Nigeria. I believe that we can move from these feelings to identifying how we can contribute towards making Nigeria a nation we can genuinely be proud of - one full of love, jobs, and prosperity, a country where the divide between the poor and the rich reduces. It's very possible but it begins with you and me. So, what will you do? Continue to live in denial or get up, get out and begin to act? Welcome to Episode 3 of Season 3 on Klevartalk.
Definitely Killing My Dreams
You and I can both relate to some of these themes: fear, procrastination, doubt, imposter syndrome, laziness, okay with the mediocre.... This episode acknowledges that while these labels are valid, they are not enough to make us stop our dreams. It's okay to pause but to completely kill that dream? Nahhh... At the end of the day, consistency brings rewarding results. What to do to break free from the chains of these labels? Find your tribe, the people who share the same values as you do, those who inspire you to dare, to reach for more and better! This is Klevartalk.
