Childlike Traits

Faith does not have to be complicated. In Mark 10, Jesus welcomes children who were being turned away by His disciples and declares that the kingdom of God belongs to those who receive it like a child. Childlike faith is marked by five key traits: wonder, confidence, trust, humility, and obedience. These are not signs of immaturity but of a heart that is open, dependent, and fully surrendered to God. Just as Jesus took the children in His arms and blessed them, He invites each of us to come to Him the same way. Through faith in Christ, we are transferred out of darkness and into His kingdom right now. We Believe…

Our culture tells us to find our own truth and invent ourselves, but that pressure is exhausting and unsustainable. The book of Jude calls believers to contend for a faith that was not invented but delivered, passed down from the apostles and rooted in God Himself. False teachers have always crept into the church, twisting grace into license and rejecting the authority of Jesus as Master and Lord. The answer is not louder arguments but faithful living. When we submit to the Word of God and walk under the reign of Jesus, we become a counterculture that offers something the world desperately needs. Jesus is not a demanding Master who gives nothing in return. He is the One who gave His life so that we could receive life through Him. Resting in the truth He has already delivered is not a constraint. Building your Life on Jesus

Jesus concludes the Sermon on the Mount with urgent warnings about false teachers and a crucial question about life’s foundation. Jesus reveals that saying the right words isn’t enough – true faith requires genuine heart transformation, not just external actions. He presents two builders: one wise who builds on rock, one foolish who builds on sand. When life’s storms come, only the foundation built on Jesus and His teachings will stand. Everything else – career, relationships, wealth, health – can be swept away. The choice is urgent: will you build your life on the temporary things of this world or on the eternal, unshakeable foundation of Christ? A Clear Vision of God’s Goodness

Many Christians struggle with confidence in prayer, wondering if God truly hears and cares about their specific needs. Jesus addresses this by teaching us to ask, seek, and knock persistently, using the illustration of earthly fathers who give good gifts to their children. If imperfect human fathers delight in blessing their children, how much more does our perfect heavenly Father want to give good things to His children? The cross of Jesus serves as the ultimate proof of God’s goodness and love. Judgemental Criticism

Jesus’ teaching in Matthew 7:1-6 addresses the difference between destructive judgmental criticism and wise discernment. The problem isn’t making necessary judgments, but developing a critical spirit that tears others down. Jesus uses the illustration of specks and logs to show how we often see others’ faults clearly while being blind to our own. When we truly experience God’s grace and remember how much we’ve been forgiven, it transforms our perspective on both ourselves and others. This grace helps us see fellow believers as family members deserving love rather than criticism.
