We are talking tonight about a film called The Ecstasy Girls and it dates back to 1979. And if you're talking about the golden age of porn, this is the golden age of the Golden age, right? It's smack dab in the middle of the golden age of porn. This movie was directed by Gary Graver under the pseudonym Robert McCallum. So of note is the fact that a lot of directors and performers would appear under pseudonyms, presumably because they wanted to be able to do other work too and not use their actual names. And in his case, that was especially true because in addition to being a porn director, Gary Graver was an accomplished filmmaker who worked on more than 300 films during his career and came to be known as Orson Welles cinematographer because he worked very closely with the great Orson Welles in the final years of Wells Life...

Today's film is Sex World. This is a 1978 production. and as you may guess from the title it was billed as sort of a science fiction porn film, interesting genre. And it was a spoof of Westworld, which was a famous movie of the day, which was basically I'd say Jurassic park set an amusement park. And instead of dinosaurs, it was robot humans. So take that idea and set it into a porn film and you have Sex World. And Sex World is a place where people can go to fulfill their every sexual fantasy, whatever you can dream of, they can make it come true for you. It's just a short getaway, three days, three nights. but everything you've ever wanted to do you will be able to do at sex world...
