Listen to the Land: Stories and conversations about home and the land in the rural Southeast
Dr. Bret Wagenhorst of Tifton, Georgia, leads by example. He doesn't just tell people to live an active, healthy and community centered life. He lives one himself. Though he has a demanding job as an opthalmologist, he spends at least 15 minutes a day gardening. He also farms unusual crops on his land, experimenting with tropical fruits and vegetables that are seldom grow in Southern Georgia. In the episode of Listen to the Land, Wagenhorst talks with Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College student Sydney Doss. This podcast is produced by students of Abraham Baldwin Agricultural College with support from the Georgia Museum of Agriculture and the Georgia Pecan Growers Association. The host is Cole Creek.
