morning people

for a lot of my life I've adopted a pacifist attitude, and felt like it ought to be possible to avoid violence or physical confrontation. the truth is some people don't want to get along, and there are times where defense is necessary. it's (IMHO) why we need men who are willing to fight, protect, and defend. yes I am reflecting on Theo Von's live interview with Mike Tyson, and Bobby Lee, and Ari Matti, and Nate (what's his last name? I really like the guy but hadn't ever heard of him until that episode, lol) let's go to Nateland though, when it's open, sounds great. love wins (!!) ps: as I toggle "explicit content" (meaning: before I air this episode I'm acknowledging that I curse) I'm thinking about the moment where Theo is talking to Nate about cursing and he goes "oh I need to HEAR this" lol #same pps did y'all know that? about uncle Sam?? 🤯

terrible time for the tablet to die, I apologize for the way it cuts out at the end. what I was saying is: not only is my high school friend's big brother a great family man, he's making big moves professionally. whole time it seems he has not forgotten where he came from, he still looks out... had no reason to help me, still chose to. proud to have been a part of that evening, thanks for that. also thank you Marcus for your leadership (and that hug).
