I got fired on Father's Day after calling my manager a liar. So here we are. In this episode I talk honestly about what happened, why I think the energy at that job was never right for me from day one, and what I believe was really going on with the competition dynamic that developed there. I share something personal I've never talked about before — a stroke I believe I had during my addiction years, what it left behind physically, and why I think it happened for a reason. I also get into my thoughts on reincarnation cycles, how beliefs shape what happens to us after we die, why I think having too many options and bypasses actually keeps people off their path, and what I think it means to finally find the thing you're meant to be doing. Animal Abuse, The Gays and The Ego

Today's episode cover image is a provocative one — a dog using a pride flag as a bathroom. I want to be upfront that this image is meant to illustrate a point I make in the episode, not an endorsement of what it depicts. In this episode I get into three topics I've been sitting with for a while: animal abuse, being gay, and the ego. I share my perspective on why I believe animals and humans choose certain experiences before coming into this life, including hard ones, and how that shapes the way I think about advocacy and causes. I also talk about a comment I left on a friend's Facebook post and the conversation that followed, sharing my personal experiences and how I think trauma shapes identity. Finally, I get into one of my favorite topics — the ego — including how I communicate with mine, how I believe it works differently for neurodivergent people, and why I think the "ego and soul becoming one" idea taught in a lot of spiritual circles doesn't resonate with me. Cats

Welcome to Season 7. This is episode one and things are shifting. I open with an update on the tourmalines and share what they showed me about how they want to be stored and charged — and why I believe the sun not the moon is the right energy for that. I also share my long held belief that the feminine and the sun are connected in ways we've been deliberately misled about. From there I get into what's been going on with my cat Petunia, the ongoing house pissing situation, and how it's affecting my relationship with all of my cats. It's heavy and it's honest. On a more exciting note I share something that came out of a moment of pure frustration — I sat down with Claude's new Fable model and asked it to build me a website that could make me money, and what it created is genuinely clever and directly connected to my own experience with Google reviews. The Tourmaline's

Today I share something I've been sitting with after a really interesting experience with two pieces of tourmaline. I talk about how I asked the universe to give them consciousness, what happened when I held them, and how I used them on my cats with results I wasn't expecting. I also get into my belief that consciousness can inhabit anything — stones, water, natural materials — and what that means for how we interact with the world around us. I share some thoughts on a TikTok video I came across that validated something I've been talking about on this podcast for a while, and I have some feelings about that. I give an update on work at the restaurant, share some exciting news about a potential new web development client that came through a connection at my job, and talk through a very real and very specific dilemma I have about meeting him for the first time. I also share where I'm at with interviews going forward and get into my frustrations with TikTok and Apple and what I think is actually going on behind the scenes with both.
