Episode 002 - The Osage Indians And The World's Fair

In this episode Cucumber begins with the Osage Indians and the Reign of Terror. After being given seemingly worthless land by the US government, the Osage indians strike oil in Northern Oklahoma and become the richest people per capita in the entire world. This attracts many dark figures the area in prospects of the oil boom which leads to the mysterious deaths of several wealthy indians with the rights to their fortunes going to white settlers upon their death.  This is the first murder case for J Edgar Hoovers Bureau of Investigations (eventually the FBI). * Book for refererence: https://www.davidgrann.com/book/killers-of-the-flower-moon/ [https://www.davidgrann.com/book/killers-of-the-flower-moon/] BTB Dives deep into the mysterious origins and purpose of The World's Exposition aka The Worlds Fair. The seemingly impossible architecture was erected in reported record time and demolished after its purpose was served. We dig deep into the beautiful architecture of Chilago which stood in present-day Chicago and lose our mind on the Crystal Palace in London. Do yourself a favor and look up the architecture of these two wonders. The building and demolition of these structures do not make sense, and the crew goes very circular questioning the "how" and "why" on this one.
