I'm a pastor, dad, husband, and child of God. I'm broken, but blessed. The cracks are where the Light shines through. My mission is to help people grow closer to God with every breath and step I take. I gave my life to Christ at an early age and have grown closer through the years, spurred on by the study of the Bible, my church family, and the Chrysalis and Walk to Emmaus Communities. I accepted the call to full -time ministry as a pastor in 1999 and have served 4 different churches in Georgia. Music, preaching, and teaching are the heart of my ministry. Outside of the pulpit, I enjoy many hobbies that help me blow off steam. These include martial arts, woodworking, blacksmithing, gardening, cooking, and being creative. I'm a jack of all trades and a master of none. My philosophy is use what you have, do it yourself if you can, learn something in the process, and have lots of fun. This channel is a place to share it all with you.
Rough Waters
When the waves start rising and the ride gets rough, you’ve got a choice—panic or trust the Captain. This groovy roots-rock anthem was inspired by a simple cruise announcement and turned into a reminder of a deeper truth: storms don’t mean you’re off course. The ride may get bumpy, but you’re not steering alone. Hold steady. We’re gonna make it through.
Be Ready | A Sermon on Luke 12:35-40
In this Lenten message from Luke 12:35–40, Pastor Chris explores Jesus’ call to “Be Ready.” What does it mean to be dressed for service and keep your lamps burning? Discover how to live with spiritual alertness, faithfulness, and joyful expectation of Christ’s return.
Every Sunrise is Special
A mellow, roots-inspired ballad about the quiet faithfulness of God’s grace. Framed by the beauty of a sunrise breaking through clouds, this song reflects on new beginnings, second chances, and the mercy that keeps shining—even through the night. Calm, hopeful, and deeply reflective.
Count the Cost | A Sermon on Luke 14:25–33
In this sermon, I preach from Luke 14:25–33 as we continue our Lenten journey toward Jerusalem. In this passage, Jesus challenges the crowds to “count the cost” before following Him. We’ll reflect on what true discipleship requires and ask ourselves whether Christ is worth complete surrender in our lives.
