In his own right as a long-time donor to VU, John lives by a deep sense of responsibility; to invest in future leaders, to act on climate change, and to strengthen institutions that expand opportunity for others. During a recent visit to our Footscray Park Campus, John met with scholarship students whose studies have been made possible through his generous giving. One student gave John a handwritten letter in gratitude – a beautiful symbol of how philanthropy is not abstract – it’s deeply personal and life-changing.
