Queen Shh Podcast, episode 32!! I found an old notepad from 2010, this is a rare find collection of journals and notes, so I was super excited to find it, read it and share it with you! I also saw the Micheal Jackson movie last weekend and it was everything! I knew it would be, there are certain things, movies, albums, books, that I just KNOW have a message for me and this was that for me. The first entry in this notepad was right on time, and filled with so many gems! Themes: Dream killers, they aren't always who you think they are and they don't always know the harm they are doing. . .some do though, don't be naïve to those who gain from you in your current spot. Regular/average is not for me. . . common life, common rules, that isn't me and never has been. At this time in 2010, I was doing A LOT of music and recording, so my dreams were huge and right, my surroundings even rich at times, but I was eating humble pie! It wasn't all sweet but I still knew that BIGGER was on the way. Boundaries, I had found out what a benefit it was to spend my time with those who were also working toward dreams vs those working toward and enjoying average. Everything wonderful that I have now was once a dream. And let me add once a dream no one else believed, or few believed. Write it down, make it plain and believe it! Being on your Queen Shh means separation from the pack in order to lead and be something others can follow. January 1st, 2019: Romans 8:18

Back with Episode 31! This time of year always feels like a spiritual new years for me, so I am hitting you with a new year's post, from the first day of 2019. So not too far back, but at the same time a world away because this is the last pre-pandemic full year we experienced, of course we didn't know it at the time. 2018 had been another year of blessing on top of 2017 which was a pivotal point for me in life, in finances and realizing A LOT of dreams. This first day of 2019 came with a lot of reflection and a lot of gratitude, kind of like I'm feeling right now. This one is titled "Romans 8:18" and the scripture reads: "For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us." That right there says it all, for then and for now. Don't trip baby, God got you! Themes: Suffering for what?!: Most of our wounds are self-inflicted. If we take the time to really examine them, we find that we have exactly what we need to heal them, but it takes active attention to do so. Make time for joy: that's your job, that's the assignment. No one can do it for you, although some may remind you how, it is a step only you can take for yourself and the reward is great. Looking like what you been through is a whole red flag: It comes from not just putting yourself on the back burner but taking you off of the stove and out of the kitchen completely. It's your first sign that you need to slow down and be honest about your schedule, calendar and priorities. You have to be number one or the entire thing doesn't work. You are the CEO, you can't be out here raggedy. It won't matter how many gold stars you collect if you can't stand your reflection in them. Worthiness: once and for all let's settle it. . .here and now. You are worth it, you are worthy. Period. When you know you know: In love and in life too. Follow that, that is what is real, everything else is just noise, just a distraction, just a dream. September 12th, 2016: Untitled

Welcome to episode 30!! As everyone is doing this comparison between 2016 and 2026, I am brining an entry from 2016 to see how far I've come and how much remains the same. The parallels to right now are on point as this one is all about the power of confidence combined with focus and assignment. As we face a time in history that is requiring us to stand up, speak up and back up what we say we believe. This could not be more on time! Themes: Confidence or the pursuit of it, the story of my life, although people never think that is something I've had to work on. Focus. As we compare 2016 to 2026 how was our focus then vs. now? What were you focused on then? What did the world seem to be focused on and did that past seem like it would lead to the future we are currently living in? Pivotal points in our lives. For me, there are so many and I'm so grateful for the real-time assessment and harnessing of the power in these times of my life. The question is what am I going to do with it this time? What are you going to do with yours, because whether you think so or not, this is a pivotal time for you as well. Nice vs mean; growth, and villain era. . . really, I'm just Willamina Slater (IYKYK) in some areas and that's because brilliance can't slow for much, certainly not for mediocrity that will eventually get it one day. October 2, 1999: Live it Up Baby!

Welcome back to Queen Shh Podcast, it's your girl Opal Ellyse, back at you with episode 29!! We are back in the 90's for this episode!! This entry is called "Live It Up Baby" and it's all about a full circle moment/epiphany and I even allude to the royalty piece so it's perfect for Queen Shh. The dawn of a new year presents an energy of renewal and offers space for reflection but it's often more about shedding what didn't serve us in the past, especially the past year. For me it is imperative that I honor that this year in a real way, a raw way, in a way that is transformative and dynamic. Themes: * Presentation, preparation and care. Talk about a new years message! OcIf there is one thing I feel is a given that I can improve it is that. When I tell you the care, heavy on the self care is a WHOLE THEME for me this year, this decade, this life. * Knowing you have grown and being presented with the mirror that shows you is such a gift, such a beautiful feeling too. * Choosing right, it should be self-explanatory, but not always. WE are faced with so many choices, and this is probably high on everyone's list right now. So many things at this moment in time feel existential. Politics, wealth, our jobs, how much time we spend on what, our self-care, our stress level, it's all up for real questioning right now and I LOVE it, it's like the whole world is reflecting in real time and choosing right matters more than ever. Who can relate? * Trusting yourself. This right here is probably the single most theme for me over the past few years, with an emphasis on the last year. * Counting on the Divine to provide. This has been the biggest game changer in my life. Financially, spiritually, mentally, physically, and all the places that matter. He will provide. He always does. That's the cheat code, that's the major key, that's the real. Part of being a Queen is trusting yourself on what to let go of and what to go for. - What is your intuition telling you that you have been ignoring because it goes against what you think other people think? - What do you need to trust God to provide for you in this season? - How can you show up in a way that represents all you are and all you are called to be? Oct. 28th, 2023: Balance

This entry is called "Balance" and there has been so much talk lately about there being no such thing as balance and I believe balance is real and achievable, it just doesn't always feel or look like what we might think. It's not often a perfect smooth blend of all aspects of your life, it's a constant battle and effort as well as a pull and push with surrender and will. Themes: Doing too much. . .I could write a whole book on this one, and I am betting many of you could as well. Creating content. . .for REAL, the kind you are born to create. New levels require new strategy AND new MO. Strategy gets all the glory and the cool points, but it's the execution and the MO that gets it done and gets you there. We cannot elevate to greater by doing the same. Being about my Father's business this is so much bigger than our perceived balances or imbalances, bigger than what's in front of us. For me, my dreams are God given and making them a reality is my duty, it requires my faith and it's why I'm here.
