How school failed me part 1. It did very little to prepare for me for the real world.

I inked my body not because tattoos are cool. It was my way of dealing with mental health issues.

Going through life and its realities has never been a walk in the park for me. Losing my Dad, Mom and other loved ones discombobulated me a lot. Building a self-made career had me deal with anxiety, fear and more. My mental health was such a mess at some point and had me come close to a suffering a stroke. Living in society with no awareness on mental health issues saw me struggle in silence for a long time before turning to tattoos. I had to embrace inking my body to find strength and healing because it was the only way I could help myself…….,

The idea of a school is to cultivate a child in such a way that the child can grow to his or her full potential. Salligate

Now I know behind every successful person is someone who most likely fell 9 times and got back up 10

Growing up in a society which does not promote and celebrate hard work made me see success as a thing that results from luck, happens immediately and that failure as a dead end and humiliating thing which comes from being dumb and having ill luck. Now I know better, I have great respect for successfully people because I see them as strong, determined people who probably fell 9 times and got back up ten.

Cursed? I was not prepared, I had no warnings! Adulthood turned out to be an unexpected adventure

I was rushing to become an Adult but had no idea it would look like this. I walked into a battle field unprepared with no warning on what to expect and at some point felt like the world was against me. This is my experience, listen.

It took growing up and experiencing life to understand why my parents scolded and lashed out at us

Growing up ignorantly did have some defects on how I saw the world and very little I understood some basic life aspects that were happening around me. I had to relearn from what I know today why certain things happened in my past.
