Summer's sizzling - literally, Series 3 is coming to an end and, with Tracy's birthday around the corner, Charlie has a little surprise up his sleeve! We're definitely in a summer mood — talking sporting highs, zesty cocktails, summer fruit and the joys of picking your own, Kebabs or koftas… which gets your vote? And find out what happens when Charlie surprises Tracy with a quick fire quiz? Peanut butter and blackcurrant jam on toast… really Tracy? Well, apparently summer has arrived... although looking out of the window this week, we're not entirely convinced! Nevertheless, in true British fashion we've been making the most of it, dodging the showers and heading out to enjoy some of the best food and drink our local area has to offer. In this episode  we chat about visiting the South Downs Food Festival, shine a light on local vineyards ahead of English Wine Week, and celebrate the fantastic producers right on our doorstep. We're also putting Charlie's taste buds to the test with a blind butter tasting — all in the name of podcast research, of course! Along the way we'll be chatting about seasonal favourites, including broad beans and peas, sharing a few recipe ideas, and generally enjoying everything that makes this time of year so special. Tea at Buck House or at home - brings us nicely onto biscuits, yes another national day draws near - celebrating these crunchy addictable sweet treats the Brits love dunking in their brew - so what does make a truly good afternoon tea — and do you take milk or add mint  - a mighty summer herb that's worth a mention.
