Kuvaus

This week on the podcast, I’m talking about something I’ve never really shared in this specific way before: The balance between structure and intuition in fitness, nutrition, movement, and even goal setting. For years, I lived heavily in the “do more, track harder, hit the numbers” side of health. Macros. Step goals. Precision. Data. Optimization. And while those tools absolutely have value, I started noticing something important: When structure becomes too rigid, people burn out. And when there’s no structure at all, people often feel chaotic and stuck. In this episode, I’m sharing: * my experience learning macros and nutritional periodization * why tracking used to feel safe for me * the difference between supportive structure and obsessive control * how “burn calories” fitness culture disconnects people from movement * why exercise shouldn’t feel like punishment * the role intuition and mindfulness play in sustainable health * how this same pattern shows up in goal setting and personal growth * and why I believe the healthiest approach is usually a blend of both masculine and feminine energy This conversation is nuanced, reflective, and practical all at once — especially for women who feel stuck somewhere between “all in” and “completely off track.” If this episode resonates with you, send me a DM on Instagram @annnemillercoaching or share it with someone who might need this reminder too.

When Plan "A" Falls Apart

This week, I'm sharing a simple story about a missed Monday email, a lost podcast recording, and the reminder that we don't have to wait for the "perfect" moment to begin again. Whether it's your workouts, nutrition, business, relationships, or creative projects, life will interrupt the plan. The goal isn't to never miss. The goal is to stop letting one missed step convince you that you've failed. In this episode, we explore: * Why all-or-nothing thinking can sneak into new areas of our lives, even after we've done a lot of mindset work. * The stories we tell ourselves after we miss a workout, a habit, or a goal. * A simple reframe that has stuck with me for years: There is never just Option A or Option B. A through Z are always available. * Three gentle questions to help you find your way back when life throws you off course. If you've been waiting for next Monday, the first of the month, or the "right time" to start again, this is your reminder that you don't have to start over. You can simply begin from where you are. From movement and nutrition to friendship, curiosity, and purpose, Naomi shares the habits and perspectives that have helped her stay connected to life and continue looking forward to the future. In this episode, we discuss: • What people often get wrong about aging • The lifelong benefits of movement • Why curiosity and learning matter at every age • Building community and meaningful relationships later in life • Simple nutrition principles that stand the test of time • The importance of having something to look forward to • How to support your future self starting today Whether you're 40, 50, or beyond, this conversation offers a powerful reminder that the future is being shaped by the small choices we make every day.

The Mindset Shifts I Keep Coming Back To

In this episode, I’m sharing 10 mindset shifts that have genuinely changed the way I approach health, habits, business, relationships, and personal growth. These are not flashy “life hacks.” They’re the perspectives I come back to over and over because they actually help me take action, create momentum, support my body, and navigate real life with more intention. We talk about: • momentum vs motivation • identity and behavior change • perfectionism • food guilt • emotional momentum • body support and energy • consistency in real life • and more If you’ve ever felt stuck in overthinking, all-or-nothing cycles, or waiting to feel “ready,” this episode is for you.
