The sermon addresses the questions raised by the puzzling episode of Exodus 4:24-26.  This is the time when the Lord sought to kill Moses only to be saved by the action of Zipporah. In context, this is seen to involve the unity of Moses with his brother, Aaron (the Levite! v 14). Is Moses identifying with Israel? While the sermon focusses on Exodus 4:18-31 it is worth reading Genesis 32 as the passage has many parallels with this key episode in the life of Jacob (named Israel.)
