BarryBarry Byrne is a Scientific Adviser with Fire Rescue Victoria, an organisation that does everything from fighting fires, to hazardous materials, urban search and rescue, rope rescue and marine firefighting. As a Science Adviser, Barry supports fires involving hazardous materials by providing advice to the operational group, as well as considering community impacts from exposure. Barry graduated from Applied Chemistry at RMIT before starting his career in petrochemicals. He moved into pharmaceuticals and then completed a Post Graduate Diploma in Forensic Science.
