Joining us are: —Alison Chopel, professor at the Graduate School of Planning, University of Puerto Rico. Chopel employs her research and design skills to support the development of community-owned housing as a strategy to resist displacement in San Juan. —Miki’ala Catelfano, co-founder and executive director of Native Roots Network, which is developing two land parcels and a network of cooperative enterprises—rooted in Indigenous knowledge, care, and community—near Redding, California.
