Kuvaus

Today's episode is about explaining the difference between an extrovert and an introvert, from my own personal experience. I realise that people may have misconceptions on what an extrovert and introvert is, like how introverts are people who liked to stay at home and extroverts like to go out more. Today's podcast is about debunking all that, from my own personal experience. Stick around and hope to hear more from you! Have an opinion about what I said? I would loved to hear your opinion. New Years are coming. What kind of goals should I set for 2024?

Today's episode will be covering on the kinds of goals you can set up for 2024 and you will learn more about the differences between approach-oriented and avoidance-oriented goals, and how these goals affect how much you would commit to achieving it. How do I feel less depressed after social rejection? Authenticy buffering against negative feelings of social rejection

Have you ever feel so out of place in a social situation? Have you ever felt so shitty after being rejected by people? I wanted to talk about authenticity and how being yourself makes you feel less depressed after a social rejection. Using a study conducted on authenticity and social rejection, I wanted to bring forward the relationship between authenticity and social rejection. Perhaps, stick around more on what you can do to reduce the negative feelings faced after a rejection from anything in your life. Link to the study: Gino, F., & Kouchaki, M. (2020). Feeling authentic serves as a buffer against rejection. Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, 160, 36–50. https://doi.org/10.1016/j.obhdp.2020.03.006
