Eli Williams | Skate Brain with Riley Shaw - Episode 25

In this episode of the podcast I sit down with Eli Williams. Eli grew up in Georgia, but recently moved to San Francisco to pursue skating and be closer to the scene. Eli's young, but has already made a lot of things happen for himself... We discuss: finding skateboarding, traveling, becoming a local at Hazard County Skatepark, living at the skatepark, competing in contests such as Element Make it Count/Zumiez Best Foot Forward, riding for Element, winning the North American Make it Count Series and traveling to Barcelona, moving to San Francisco, working at Lowcard, going on tour with Element, not showering, getting hooked up by Doomsayers, hanging out with Omar Salazar, and plenty more... Eli you're a true skate rat, keep killing it man! Hope you guys enjoy! Reggie Kelly | Skate Brain with Riley Shaw - Episode 24

In this episode of the podcast I sit down and chop it up with Reggie Kelly. With as much footage and tricks that Reggie has put down over the years it's hard to believe he's still only 24. We talk about: finding skateboarding, growing up in Columbus Ga, having a full beard at 14, getting into anime, moving to California, riding for Sk8mafia/Enjoi/Zero, iconic tricks from his parts, the Cuckoo's Nest, Reveal Skateboards, Fallen, Bender, and plenty more! Reggie you're the man and thank you again. Keep doing what you're doing. Keep a lookout for Reggie's new part in the Zero video "Damn it All" coming soon... Jordan Smith | Skate Brain with Riley Shaw - Episode 22

In the world of instant gratification where the hardest skate tricks can be seen via social media and then lost in a day it can be refreshing to take a step back. With that being said, I grew up watching all the SEC videos: Dustin Hart, Gary Sargent, Jordan Smith, Cory Gunn, Nick Palucci... Those were the dudes I wanted to skate like! With that being said, I heard Jordan was leaving Atlanta and moving to Portland, Oregon, so I knew I had to get him on the show. I had talked to Jordan briefly in passing, but never had a full conversation with him. Needless to say, I was not disappointed. What I found was a down to earth dude who genuinely loves skateboarding and wants to have the most fun possible skating and filming with his friends. Jordan's been the guy on both sides of the counter at the shop, filmed more than a few street parts, had a few interviews in magazines, but continues to skate for the right reasons. Best of luck in your travels to Oregon and keep killing it. Here's a little insight into the guy with the damn good switch back tails. He's no IPA guy. Enjoy!
