Local legend says her screams still echo through the night as she races down the tracks where tragedy once struck. We also discuss the Snarly Yowl, a terrifying Appalachian cryptid said to haunt the surrounding hills. Described as a massive dog like beast with fiery red eyes that walks on two legs, the Snarly Yowl is rumored to be impossible to kill, surviving bullets, car crashes, and anything else thrown its way. Episode 84: The Slice team headed into Monmouth County, New Jersey to explore haunted locations tied to the world of the View Askewniverse and the cult classic films of Kevin Smith. We visited iconic New Jersey movie locations connected to Clerks, Chasing Amy, and Jay and Silent Bob, including the legendary Quick Stop Groceries to count eggs and soak in one of the most recognizable indie film locations in movie history. We also stopped at Jay and Silent Bob's Secret Stash to check out props, memorabilia, and rare items from the View Askewniverse films. Along the way we hung out with John Willyung, the actor from the original ending of Clerks and the unforgettable "finger cuffs" scene from Chasing Amy. Naturally, we also tracked down local pizza spots in Red Bank because Jersey pizza is practically its own religion. But this trip wasn't just movie nostalgia. We explored haunted places and urban legends throughout Monmouth County, including the mysterious Dempsey House, where we dug into the truth behind the local legends. We also visited the historic Seabrook-Wilson House, better known as the Spy House, one of New Jersey's most talked about haunted sites. Iron Vines Winery Haunting - Shadow Figures Fairies and Spirits

Episode 83: Slice of the Paranormal investigates the Iron Vines Winery in Sunbury, Pennsylvania, a unique location known for wine, live music, and an atmosphere that feels anything but ordinary. At first glance it is a relaxed and artsy venue, but staff and visitors have reported unexplained noises, a shadow figure near the bar, and strange activity in the basement that some describe as fairylike presence. We were granted access after hours to explore the building with staff on site. During the investigation, we documented strange occurrences, heard local stories tied to the property, and uncovered possible names connected to the reported activity. Whether coincidence or something lingering beneath the surface, the energy shifted in ways that were hard to ignore. Despite the unsettling moments, the experience carried an oddly welcoming tone. Even the unexplained felt calm rather than threatening.
