Ghughuti Festival

Ghughuti Tyohaar is a festival for the children. Ghughuti is a sweet made up of wheat flour, jaggery, and ghee. On Uttarayan day, children of Uttarakhand wear a Ghughuti Mala (necklace made with Ghughuti) and go to the terrace to call crows. Children would sing a folk song, 'Kale Kawa Kale Ghughuti Mala Kha Le....' to call crows. The crows listening to their sweet song would come to the terrace and eat ghughuti. This is the story of little boy Rohan who loves listening to stories at his school. One such story was on Ravana which impacted his little mind that made him a better child.
