Sultry Herbalist Radio is a podcast hosted by Breigh Murray, the headmistress/Herbalist behind Sultry Apothecary, a Stripper owned & operated herbal apothecary, where she makes high-quality custom herbal remedies for chronic and acute health conditions, specializing in herbs for women’s (especially strippers) health, hormone balancing and stress reduction.She provides herbal health consultations to women in the adult entertainment industry who have little to no access to healthcare and help them find solace in herbal medicine. She mentors budding herbalists in an online mentorship program, teaching them how to craft their own herbal medicine, start businesses outside of the club and feel empowered by the process of being in charge of their health. She has a chronic illness called endometriosis, a disorder where the layer of tissue that normally covers the inside of the uterus, grows outside it. It causes excruciatingly painful periods and I have successfully used herbs to help me with pain management and healing for over 15 years. She also mentors women with endometriosis on what she has learned and helps them craft their own plant medicine and lead lives closely connected to their healing. This podcast is just one way she gives back to her communities and shares her knowledge, skills, and resources on Herbalism, gardening, plant-based nutrition and beyond.
