When worlds collide like this, we are left feeling blessed, seen, and utterly satisfied. We also have a discussion on how we just know Debut (Taylor's Version) will be coming out this year; the coming home imagery of "I Knew It, I Knew You," the 20th anniversary, the easter eggs.....it's definitely happening, right?! We also have a considerate discussion about the rumors that Taylor and Travis are getting married at Madison Square Garden. It's weird, but also kind of sensible. Tell us what you guys think! Taylor doesn't so much "clap back" at the media in this song, but presents a defense as to her behavior and why she is who she is. Episode 156 - ivy

Oh goddamn! This stunning song is one of Taylor's best examples of poetic imagery, storytelling, and escapism. We couldn't help but wonder if Taylor was projecting herself into the narrator's point of view, or if she was inspired by historical figures of years ago. It was also challenging to discern whether or not the narrator in this song is happy and relieved for the "ivy," or if she's cursing it. One thing was certain for the both of us: it's a deeply profound and absolutely beautiful song.
