Kuvaus

In this episode, I go into what even is the point of sharing vulnerably, sharing online at all. I talk about a realization from a Kabbalistic astrology reading and how I thought I was pouring my heart and soul into things, only to realize that sometimes we don’t even recognize the ways we’re still hiding. I also get into the idea of esteemable acts creating self-esteem, and how we often bullshit ourselves into avoiding the most important thing in our day because that thing usually rubs up against our deepest fears and core wounds. And maybe the thing I’m learning most right now: it’s in honestly admitting where we are and giving ourselves genuine compassion and gentleness that we actually gain the courage to do the thing. This is foreign for so many of us because we were conditioned to believe we need to criticize, shame, or “whip ourselves into shape” in order to change. Turns out gentleness and love is much more efficient.
