In 1 Corinthians 10, the Apostle Paul warns the Corinthians against overconfidence and idolatry by drawing lessons from Israel’s history. He reminds them how the Israelites experienced God's blessings the cloud, the sea, spiritual food and drink, yet many were still judged because of their disobedience and sin. He emphasizes that these examples were written as warnings for believers today.
