Is FF7 Fatigue Real? + Multiverse Clues in the Final Fantasy VII Revelation Trailer!   The final chapter is officially upon us. With the massive trailer drop for Final Fantasy VII: Revelation, Square Enix is pulling back the curtain on the endgame—but are they hiding the biggest plot twists right in plain sight? In today’s episode, we are breaking down the reveal trailer frame-by-frame and diving into some major theories. Is the new FITS outfit/job customization system actually a clever visual disguise for alternate-reality versions of Cloud and Tifa? With Aerith conspicuously absent from the footage, is that final empty party slot actually reserved for Zack Fair to make a permanent crossover? We’re breaking down why evolving the narrative away from a strict beat-by-beat remake is the best decision Square Enix could have made. Plus, we are diving straight into the community timeline. I review and react to the mixed, highly divided comment section from my recent TikTok video checking the temperature on "Final Fantasy VII Fatigue." With a 7-year gap from Remake to Revelation, has the decade-long development cycle exhausted the fanbase? And if a legendary franchise like FF7 is causing this much mixed fatigue, will Square Enix ever attempt a multi-game mega-remake model like this ever again? The TRUTH About GalaxyCon OKC 2026: What Makes a Comic-Con Actually Fun? | The Batmandrew Podcast

GalaxyCon just took over the Oklahoma City Convention Center, and after walking the floor, checking out the panels, and seeing how the whole event was put together, I’ve got some thoughts.   We love the culture, we show up, and we pay premium prices—but what actually turns a convention from a massive room full of tables into an unforgettable weekend? Today, I’m giving my brutally honest review of GalaxyCon OKC and breaking down the 3 Pillars that organizers are completely missing when it comes to making a convention fun for the fans.   Question of the Day: What is your absolute biggest pet peeve when you walk onto a convention floor? Is it the lack of atmosphere, lazy panels, or seeing the exact same vendor stalls over and over again? Let’s talk about it in the comments below!   Also, thank you for watching or listening to my content! I really do appreciate your support. Problem with Modern Game Reviews: Expedition 33 vs The Last of Us | The Batmandrew Podcast

We aren't the same gamers we were in 2013. Is nostalgia blinding us to modern masterpieces?   Welcome back to The Batmandrew Podcast.   Today, we are dissecting a viral debate that perfectly highlights the state of modern gaming discourse and the toxicity within the community. I recently came across a clip of a creator explaining why they walked away from Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 after 12 hours because the emotional hooks didn't land for them. In response, another creator labeled his take "disingenuous," using the legendary opening of The Last of Us as the gold standard of how tragedy should be handled.   While I actually think the emotional weight in Expedition 33 was fully earned, I completely disagree with the idea that someone's personal experience is "fake" just because they didn't feel it. Today, we are breaking down why both of these creators are missing the real culprit: Historical Context and Genre Expectations. When The Last of Us dropped Sarah's scene, it was the "Shock of the New." We hadn't been conditioned for that level of cinematic devastation in a prologue. Today, we are narrative detectives; we enter high-budget RPGs braced for impact, expecting the twist. That doesn't make modern games worse—it just means our collective armor is up.   Let's talk about why context is everything and why we need to stop telling people their subjective opinions are "wrong."   Also, thank you for watching or listening to my content! I really do appreciate your support. If you want, follow me on my social medias @the_batmandrew    You're. The. Why do you think the gaming community gets so defensive over differing opinions?
