But Alex is determined to make his parents proud, no matter what the cost.

He shares the details of what should have been an average move into a nice rural duplex, but turned sinister once he met his elderly neighbors, a deceptively sweet religious couple, Harold and Ruth Peterson. Our second tale introduces us to a struggling musician who, while moping about his latest stage performance, finds a magical talisman in the forest. But after attempting to use the object to make a wish, he soon regrets ever finding it. Both stories are written, performed, and produced by Bill Mullane. They were originally released as part of the "A Brothers' Macabre" series in October 2024.
