The Thing About Things

Things can never bring you joy that lasts. Your attention moves to the next desire once you achieved what you wanted. Its a pretty cruel ruse once you really think about it. Stop, Pause and enjoy what you have accomplished before you move on to the other desire. enjoy all the good things and then let them go. Don't let them win over you. we own them and not the other way round.

The Eye of the Storm..

This is the need of the hour to practice being in the Eye of the Storm considering the stress and pain around us. This is will help us be mindful and help people around us who might need our support. I know it will be difficult with all the situations but not impossible all it needs is more practice mindfully. Lets do this together.

Goals VS Intentions

At the beginning of each month, I set my goals but from this month I'm going to work on my intentions. It will keep me focused and on board with everything I'm trying to accomplish. Goals aren't the same as intentions. In reality, I prefer setting intentions because it helps me to maintain a positive outlook without being attached to a particular result. Much of the pain comes in our lives from the attachment and expectations that we have with people, things and situation around us. The heartbreak that we feel when something is over or we lose a loved one is the most painful of all. What if we just shift our perception and focus on the reality of life that nothing  lasts forever, everything with go back to its natural form. This Philosophy will help us appreciate the time we spend with the people that are present in our lives now and be more appreciative and grateful about it.
