More and more people who might have never experienced the intoxicating highs of psychedelics and psychoactive plants are beginning to come forward within a new wave of popular reports and articles promoting the many purported benefits of hallucinogenic drugs.  In today's podcast we take a deep look at these substances, how they impact our mind and perspective, and talk about my own personal experiences with them.

But the amount of contradictory information and dead ends out there only contributes to many failures both in and out of the gym.  After years of fighting off every attempt at my body to  get fat I finally came to the conclusion that there's only 3 things you really need to know if you want  to get as fit as your genetics will allow.  It's gonna get crazy! Let's go burn some fat.

The Good God

Perhaps one of the most difficult questions mankind needs to wrestle with is the idea of God. In the midst of our misery and frustration is there room for the uncertainty of divinity? Can the promise of heaven bridge the chasm of need that we all desperately and immediately yearn to pass? There is a lot to say for something of which we know so little. Or maybe we know more than we expect? Maybe we are known more than we can imagine? God knows.

Steve Martin's career has had many peaks and valleys over many different mountains. From music, to movies, to books, to his first love in stand up comedy. His life and art have often intersected in surprising, hilarious, and heart breaking ways. His contribution to stand up is as timeless and American as the banjo music he later mastered.  The story of his rise to fame and his quiet departure from the stage outlines a country breaking free of an era into a wild and crazy future. Lucky for us we had the right guy for the job.

The Good Drink

Alcohol has been a part of my life for nearly as long as I can remember. For all the good and bad memories throughout the years where a drink was a part of it. I look back and see both the pain and the pleasure. Ultimately life requires courage, commitment, hope and often remorse. Our decisions make or break us. Hopefully we can all celebrate making the right choice. Sometimes, life can be pretty fun in and of itself.
