WHO IS YOUR KING - Psalm 47

Who is your King? Every person crowns something. Success, comfort, money, politics, family, or even themselves. Psalm 47 confronts us with a powerful truth, there is a throne above every throne and a King above every king. This enthronement psalm points us ultimately to Jesus Christ, the victorious King who conquered sin, defeated death, ascended to heaven, and reigns over all creation. He is not campaigning for authority or competing with other rulers. He reigns supreme. The question isn't, "Does God reign?" The question is, "Does He reign over me?"
