The Michele Roys Show
Sometimes we don't need another podcast telling us how to do more. Sometimes we just need to pause. As we begin a new month, I wanted to do something a little different. In this episode, I'm simply reading Psalm 23 and sharing why these words have carried me through some of the hardest seasons of my life—living with chronic pain, navigating invisible illness, and learning that sometimes God really does "make us lie down" so He can restore us. If you've been feeling tired, overwhelmed, anxious, or like life has been a little too heavy lately, I hope you'll take ten minutes, slow down with me, and simply listen. Maybe these words are exactly what your heart needs today. 💛 In this episode we reflect on: • What "He makes me lie down in green pastures" means to me now • Why slowing down isn't giving up • Trusting God when we can't see what's ahead • Finding peace in difficult seasons • How God restores our soul, one step at a time As I was recording this, I kept thinking about how easy it is to rush into a new month with another long to-do list. Maybe this month, instead of striving, we simply begin by resting in God's presence. I'd love to hear from you. ✨ What part of Psalm 23 speaks to you the most? Or simply leave a 💚 in the comments if this episode encouraged you. If you know someone who's carrying a heavy load right now, would you share this episode with them? You never know who might need this reminder today. If you're new here, welcome.
