Kuvaus

In Luke 14:28 Jesus asked the crowd of people who were following him a very important question: " For which of you, intending to build a tower, sitteth not down first, and counteth the cost, whether he have sufficient to finish it?" In asking this question Jesus was referring to the price one will have to pay to follow Him. It was Matthew 16:24 that says " Then Jesus said unto His disciples, if any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me." To follow Jesus, there is a cost and a price to pay. Though it may not be a monetary price, there is a mental and spiritual reshaping that will take place through a self- mortifying process. Noone can serve the Lord when they are full of themselves and their own ways. Something(s) will have to die for you to serve Christ well. This is why it is important to count the cost before making a decision. And while serving Christ is the BEST decision one could ever make, the Lord still requires for us to count the cost to see if it is a price we're willing to pay. As you listen in to this week's episode I pray it is a blessing to you and if it is, feel free to follow, and share the podcast with a Friend or family member. Until next time, this is the Polymath Podcast with Ms Neisha I'll see you on the other side.

Paul Lived An Intentional Life

In this week's episode we looked at the Intentional Life of the Apostle Paul. Paul had an unrelenting, unwavering passion for preaching the gospel of Christ but it did not start there. Before Paul became a man of God, he has a great passion for persecuting Christians. He took pride in killing believers of Christ and he believed that was the right things to do. When the Lord revealed Himself to Paul on the road to Damascus, Paul life was instantly changed but his passion and intentionality did not change. God only changed the way he used it. So instead of killing Christians, Paul began to preach which such power and fearlessness that he said in Phil 1:21 "For to me to live is Christ, and to die is gain." Paul knew that serving Christ came with a cost and he was willing to pay that cost even if it meant risking his life in the process. Today, as believers we can emulate the life of Paul in the way he was unapologetic and courageous in his pursuit of spreading the gospel. As you listen in to this week's episode, I pray that it is a blessing to you and if it is, feel free to follow and share the podcast with your friends and family. Living Intentionally

In this week's episode we looked at living Intentionally and the importance of doing so unapologetically. So many of us are used to playing Small that when God calls us to walk boldly in our purpose we try to retreat to a former place of comfort. But comfort is the enemy of progress. So if we are going to live intentionally we will have to be obedient to the voice of God and be unapologetically who He has called us to be. It is very possible that what the Lord is calling you to may seem bigger than what you think you care capable of. But this is your assurance that if God is the One who called you to it, then God is the One who will equip you and help you to accomplish it. The days of playing small is over. Our failure to embrace the calling on our lives will keep us out of the will of God, and that is a dangerous place to be. Remember obedience is better than sacrifice! As you listen in to this week's episode I pray it is a blessing to you and if it is, feel free to follow and share the podcast with your friends and family. Until next time this is the Polymath Podcast with Ms Neisha. I'll see you on the other side.

Arise And Shine For Your Light Has Come!

In this week's episode we looked at the verse in Isaiah 60:1 (Amp) "Arise [from spiritual depression to a new life], shine [be radiant with the glory and brilliance of the Lord]; for your light has come, And the glory and brilliance of the Lord has risen upon you." As you arise, it is important that you do so with discernment. You should be able to discern what the Lord is saying to you in this season and time. Where does He want you to arise? With what abilities and skill sets? What level are you arising to? These questions can only be answered by spending quiet time with Lord to hear what He has to say. Though many of us have been in a place of isolation or abandonment where rising was not required, when the Lord turns His face towards us, we have to be willing to arise with the splendor and radiance of His presence and shine in whatever area or industry He has called us to shine in. We cannot afford to play small or display false humility in the time of our rising. Instead we must walk in godly confidence knowing that we are arising to shine His light and not a manufactured or curated one from ourselves. As you listen in I pray that this episode is a blessing to you and if it is, feel free to follow, subscribe and share the podcast with your friends and family. Until next time this is the Polymath Podcast with Ms Neisha I'll see you on the other side.

Rising to Rebuild Pt3

In this week's episode we emphasized that on the path of Greatness, pause if you must but NEVER stop! This is important because many people have fallen into the habit of pausing so long that they have halted the work God has started in them. Do not fall into that trap. It is okay it pause and recoup but never stop. Let God's work be completed in you. We also emphasized that if God is all we have then we have all we need. Because on the path of greatness as you rise, people will fall away. Friends may start drifting and family may cut you off without warning but it's in this time that you will understand that your elevation is not dependent on your circle of friends or family members. God will send destiny helpers - people who you've never seen before but they carry the grace to help you fulfill your God given assignment on earth. So do not get discouraged as people fall away from your life. The further the eagle soar, the more it has to change its old wings to get new and renewed ones for the heights ahead. As you listen in I pray that this episode is a blessing to you and if it is, feel free to like, follow and share the podcast with a loved one.
