Joshua, alongside NikiMarie of 'NikiMarie Radio' who helped conduct the interview welcomes the audience to William Person: a former Team USA bobsledder who now has taken up one of the most powerful missions around: helping potential CTE patients while raising awareness on its crippling symptoms and even battling the powers-that-be in a the court of law to do so. CTE (Chronic Traumatic Encephalopathy) is a progressive neurodegenerative disease that gained widespread notoriety through Nigerian-American neuropathologist Dr. Bennet Omalu and his work in studying the disease in diseased pro football players. CTE carries a range of troubling symptoms which include deteriorations in mood/behavior, cognitive function, motor function, and even sleep. Will discusses his personal CTE realization and how trauma from all angles led to him picking up this cause.
