His career highlights include the only IPO in the history of Moldova: Purcari Wineries, the only IPO of a Ukrainian company on NASDAQ: Kyivstar, and the first neobank to go public: Tinkoff Credit Systems, IPO on the London Stock Exchange in 2013.Dan is a passionate supporter of Ukraine. He has served as an Advisor to the President of Ukraine and to Ukraine’s Prime Minister. He has also found the charity foundation “Children of Heroes,” which has delivered more than $30 million in support to over 15,000 children whose lives were devastated by the loss of a parent in the Russian war against Ukraine. Barbara previously founded Park International School in Lisbon, a multi-campus school, which is considered one of the leading schools in Portugal.Barbara holds an MBA from Darden, University of Virginia. Barbara's passion for education extends beyond her professional life. She serves on the board of Teach for Portugal, Salta Group in Brazil and was on the board of the Private School Association in Portugal for four years. Additionally, she is on the board of ICF (Inclusion Community Forum). After selling Park International School, she served as the Regional Managing Director for Inspired for 4 years, before assuming her current role at Affinitas Education.

In both capacities, Miller specialized in leading complex projects to fruition as the driving force behind efforts as diverse as the creation of the High Line and, more recently, the construction of 2000 units of affordable housing in transitional neighborhoods in the Bronx.Since 2021, Miller has turned his attention to sourcing and investing in real estate, hospitality, and football opportunities in Portugal.
