Unlawful

Simon and Mathew are on a very touching and deep journey to bring Mary back to Jesus. Mary in episode 5 was confronted with her past and being overwhelmed by the fear of her past flees from Jesus’ side. During this episode, we follow Mary as she dives back into old habits as Simon and Matthew are searching for her. John is arrested which causes friction between many including the disciples. James and John share an important moment of surrender to follow Jesus despite their inability to understand His teachings and their place within the ministry. There is trouble afoot with Shumel and Yanni seeking justice again Jesus’ blasphemy. One of the themes of this episode is love and how love conquers the law. This episode also teaches a very important lesson in obedience over preference. Jesus performs a miracle and satisfies the hunger of his followers. Lastly, we see how Jesus forgives and moves forward.

Spirit

In the episode entitled, "Spirit" we witness a lot of complex moments as the show covers a variety of plot lines and twist. May Magdalene battles against her past demons and confronts one. Ramah is struggling as a student. Simon the Zealot is seeking after Jesus because he believes Jesus is the Messiah but he is not the only one. John the Baptist and Jesus have their final emotional heart to heart as they look to the future. Jesus knowing that John will die and John waiting in hope to see all the Jesus would do. The Perfect Opportunity

This episode is the tale of two brothers. Both equally famous in scripture but not related. Simon the Zealot and the lame man by the pool. We see the struggle of the lame man by the pool to get into the water. He tries multiple times to get into the pool but get step on and over while others get in the water. The disciples prepare for the feast of tabernacles. Simon the Zealot gets his first assignment to assassinate a roman official. Jesus gets into some good trouble in the temple and makes the pharisees angry. Matthew 4:24

In Syria, the disciples take shifts to help Jesus deal with a large crowd hoping to be healed. Philip continues to mentor Matthew, while Mary Magdalene and Ramah start to study Torah. I Saw You
