Kuvaus

Tough Love Thursday with Andrew Drasen From Prison to a Vision of Hope Andrew Drasen is the author of A Vision of Hope and the creator of a 90-day framework that helps people transform pain into growth and live on purpose, not by accident. His work began with his own journey through adversity, loss, and rediscovery—experiences that forced him to rebuild from the ground up and ultimately inspired him to create a structured program others could follow. The seed of A Vision of Hope was planted in the least likely of places: a jail dayroom, under fluorescent lights, surrounded by men serving time. Andrew began writing while incarcerated, using journal entries and essays as a way to process his addiction, his mistakes, and the questions of identity and purpose that haunted him. He finished the final chapter of the memoir minutes before walking out the prison doors on his release date. This timing was symbolic—his story wasn’t just about survival, but about carrying forward a blueprint for change into the outside world. Growth comes when people rediscover their identity and clarify their direction. Purpose follows when they create actionable, measurable steps to live differently. This progression is universal. It applies to those in recovery or reentry, but also to leaders facing burnout, professionals at a crossroads, or anyone who simply wants to live with greater clarity and intention. TACO Tuesday: Are You Living Your Best Life with Chris Woods

TACO Tuesday! Balls and Brains: Are You Living Your Best Life? With Chris Woods Today’s guest, Chris Woods, is a Certified Professional Coach and the author of the book "Balls & Brains: A framework for living your best life by overcoming fears and maximizing strengths." "Balls & Brains" is a no-nonsense, actionable guide for people seeking to break free from self-imposed limitations and step into their fullest potential. Chris combines personal storytelling, psychological frameworks, and practical exercises to help readers overcome fear (Balls) and maximize their innate strengths (Brains).  This isn't just another self-help book, it's a roadmap for those who are tired of playing small and ready to lead with courage and clarity. Chris brings decades of experience as a four-time global C-suite executive and former Google sales leader.  He rose up from a rough upbringing in a tough area of Boston - the original "Good Will Hunting". Then, at 40 years old, Chris flatlined in a hospital bed.  That moment forced him to confront not just his health, but how he was defining success and the internal fears driving his choices. It changed everything. Today, he coaches from lived experience—not theory. He helps leaders and professionals align who they are with what they do, so success feels energizing instead of exhausting. Check out his website, where you can find a link to the book "Balls & Brains", more information about coaching services offered as well as testimonials from happy coaching clients.  https://chriswoodscoach.com/ [https://chriswoodscoach.com/] Be sure to download, Like and Share this, and all our podcasts with someone you know who needs to hear the Warrior Servant Leader Mindset message. https://www.thewarriorservantleaderpodcast.com [https://www.thewarriorservantleaderpodcast.com/] Connect with Pat, @patwelshjd on all the social media platforms Want to chat with Pat about his Speaking, Coaching and Training services? Finding Meaning When Your Life Falls Apart with Davis Bain

Wednesday Wisdom Today’s guest, Davis Bain, is an author, chronic condition advocate, neurofeedback specialist, and graduate school counseling student whose life changed overnight during his senior year of college when a sudden injury led to Post-Concussion Syndrome. Davis has spent the last three and a half years navigating chronic pain, medical dismissal, financial strain, and the isolating weight of an invisible disability and he is still enduring all of this today. But Davis is not a quitter. He has turned that experience into his book "Chronic Pain Warrior" — a practical and compassionate guide for anyone facing chronic pain, illness, or injury. Davis is passionate about helping Chronic Pain Warriors and their loved ones feel seen, understood, and less alone and has dedicated himself in his ongoing work in neurofeedback and counseling. That in-the-trenches perspective became the foundation for his book Chronic Pain Warrior and he brings that raw, lived experience and genuine passion to our conversation today. We dive into the often silent topics of chronic pain, mental health, and resilience. Learn more about Davis’s journey and order a copy of his book here:  https://www.chronicpainwarrior.com [https://www.chronicpainwarrior.com/] Be sure to download, Like and Share this, and all our podcasts with someone you know who needs to hear the Warrior Servant Leader Mindset message. https://www.thewarriorservantleaderpodcast.com [https://www.thewarriorservantleaderpodcast.com/] Connect with Pat, @patwelshjd on all the social media platforms Want to chat with Pat about his Speaking, Coaching and Training services?
