Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2075450/fan_mail/new] Let’s talk, Fit Sister… What does the Bible really say about your body? We live in a culture filled with conflicting messages. Body positivity tells us one thing. Fitness culture tells us another. Social media, influencers, and the world all have opinions about how we should look, feel, and think about our bodies. But as Christian women, there’s a much more important question we need to ask: What does God say? In Episode 161 of the Warrior Up Podcast, we’re opening God’s Word and having an honest conversation about body image, body positivity, self-love, health, fitness, aging, and what it really means to honor God with the bodies He has given us. After more than 30 years in the fitness industry, I’ve watched women obsess over their bodies, hate their bodies, neglect their bodies, and make their bodies their identity. I’ve had to let God change some of my own thinking through the years too. The Bible gives us a better way. Aren’t you so thankful? In this episode, we’ll talk about: 💜 Why your body matters to God without becoming your identity 💜 What creation, the Fall, redemption, and resurrection teach us about our bodies 💜 The difference between body obsession, body hatred, and biblical stewardship 💜 Why caring for your health can become an act of worship 💜 How to think about weight, fitness, aging, hormones, pain, and physical limitations through a biblical worldview 💜 The question that can change the way you care for your body: “Lord, how can I honor You with the body You’ve entrusted to me today?” Your body is not your identity. Jesus is. (Can I get an Amen?) But your body does matter to God. He created it, Christ redeemed you, the Holy Spirit dwells within believers, and one day God will raise His people in glory. So instead of allowing culture to tell us how to think about our bodies, let’s go back to the truth of God’s Word and learn what it means to faithfully care for the bodies He has entrusted to us.
