Welcome to another Ocean Safety Podcast, for this one I can promise you a real treat, as Ceri Hurford-Jones gets to talk to the extraordinary and inspirational Dee Caffari in conversation with Alistair Hackett the CEO of Ocean Safety To give you an idea what Dee has achieved so far…… She’s sailed around the world six times in total, including sailing single-handedly nonstop around the world in both directions In 2006 she became the first woman to sail solo, non-stop, around the world against the prevailing winds and currents and was awarded an MBE in recognition of her achievement. There's not many people you can say they've achieved such great things….male or female!
