Text Me! I’d love to hear from you! [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2593259/fan_mail/new] Proverbs 4:23 Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life. We have all been around someone who is prone to complain. They complain so much that sometimes you wonder if complaining is the only thing that makes them happy. Truth be known we have all been that person at times. But here’s another truth. God actually hates complaining. When we complain, it demonstrates a lack of faith in God‘s promises, provision, and sovereignty.  Does that mean we should keep our mouths shut and pretend things are good when they aren’t? Well, that depends on if you are complaining or lamenting. What’s the difference? Take a listen.

The Message In The Spit

Text Me! I’d love to hear from you! [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2593259/fan_mail/new] Mark 8:22-26 has always been a peculiar record to me.  There are many things to unpack here, and you can listen to my thoughts. But I do encourage you to study this on your own and see what the Holy Spirit would say to you. 22 And they came to Bethsaida. And some people brought to him a blind man and begged him to touch him. 23 And he took the blind man by the hand and led him out of the village, and when he had spit on his eyes and laid his hands on him, he asked him, “Do you see anything?”24 And he looked up and said, “I see people, but they look like trees, walking.” 25 Then Jesus[a [https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=Mark%208%3A22-26&version=ESV#fen-ESV-24521a]]laid his hands on his eyes again; and he opened his eyes, his sight was restored, and he saw everything clearly. 26 And he sent him to his home, saying, “Do not even enter the village.”
