Kuvaus

This episode we’re talking to former Littleton Mayor Patricia Cronenberger. Pat worked in policy development in the areas of land use, transportation, and aging and disability resources at the Denver Regional Council of Governments for 7 years until 2014. Prior to joining DRCOG she served as a Littleton council member, mayor and mayor pro tem for 15 years. She is a founder/Vice Chair of the Littleton Leadership Academy, serves as President of the South Metro Land Conservancy (SMLC), and is a member of the South Metro Housing Options board. Pat talks about the activities of the SMLC and gives us some excellent resources for taking advantage of the parks and trails around us. She calls out: - The South Metro Land Conservancy Facebook Page, an up-to-date community with information on (and amazing pictures of) area public spaces - Generation Wild, whose website has an amazing list of activities for young people (and the young at heart) called 100 Things to Do Before You're Twelve (https://www.generationwild.com/the-list) [https://www.generationwild.com/the-list)] - Richard Louv's book on "Nature Deficit Disorder," Vitamin N, as well as Scott D. Sampson's book How to Raise a Wild Child
