How can we prevent most common causes of Lymphedema?
Who is at Risk for Lymphedema?
In my opinion, everyone is at risk for lymphedema at some point in their life. It is important to understand the difference between Primary and Secondary Lymphedema as well as the causes of Secondary Lymphedema. I am currently preventing secondary lymphedema of my legs as I do have mild venous swelling after pregnancy. I encourage you to make your own assessment of your risks and stay healthy to reduce your risks!
Happy Lymphedema Awareness Month
March is Lymphedema Awareness Month! Learn about your lymphatic system! Whether you have lymphedema or not, your lymphatic system is critical to living a long health span! I am so blessed to have an amazing career in not only treating lymphedema, but creating awareness in the community about the lymphatic system and how it impacts your health! Together, we can significantly reduce the incidence of developing Lymphedema worldwide! :)
#4 - COVID Round 2 "The Event"
How can we prepare for any "event" that may affect our lives? My thoughts on why people do better than others when having illness like COVID, the flu, or just the common cold virus. Check out how I am supporting my body through COVID Round #2 and why preparing for this COVID "event" is allowing me to recover and have mild symptoms. :) For more information, I invite you to visit my website at https://tracey-podolsky.mykajabi.com/ [https://tracey-podolsky.mykajabi.com/]
#3 - Kids Getting Sick
For the first time in over 6 years, we gave Cole antibiotics. It is such a good feeling to reflect with gratitude that we have been 6 years RX-free but also pause and reflect on WHY he got sick. We have the ability to learn from each experience. Don't just push through the stress of kids getting sick. Pause, reflect, and create AAA!
