We dig into what it is, where it comes from, and why you want to stay far away from it! You can protect your home from the gas intrusion thru the soil and basements BUT you may be piping it in along with your water and not even realizing it. What we discovered was bizarre, namely because mercury is a metal and in its elemental form it is heavier than lead yet it quickly evaporates into the air. This puts some perspective on those fluorescent bulbs that few of us actually bag before tossing out.
