Nancy is mad at Joey because he told her about his twin brother Jesse’s trick to avoid anxiety when waking up in the middle of the night. Nancy tried the hack overnight, and it just made her more anxious.  Joey and Nancy debated whether they would ever rent someone else's pool or allow strangers to rent theirs for extra cash. An app called Swimply lets people do that.  Hot Tea: Someone tried to sell a bag of air they claimed came from Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s wedding for $50,000. Bunny XO’s divorce podcast has been deleted. A new luxury Adidas tracksuit with built-in air conditioning made its debut at Paris Fashion Week.  Joey said that he hates telling people he works on the radio because it always leads to a flood of questions. Listeners called in with jobs they avoid talking about, including a porta-potty cleaner, a pharmacy tech who calls herself a “drug dealer,” and nurses who get tired of being asked for medical advice.  Nerd News featured a newly discovered “ballista spider” that catapults ants into its web, giant cotton-candy-like planets that could almost float, and 500-year-old potatoes that archaeologists found in remarkably good condition.  Lucky 7 for $50 to Twisters  Joey and Nancy are going on vacation next week and haven’t really planned out what they are going to do once they get to their destinations. Karly gave Joey some suggestions including the Ben & Jerry’s Flavor Graveyard, a giant filing cabinet, a granite zipper sculpture, and participating in a reenactment of the Boston Tea Party.  A Ford employee was fired after being wrongly accused of stealing a $1.95 cookie. The Jefferson County Fair opens tonight! Joey talked about his time at fairs as a kid when he would sing the national anthem and DJ for a dance.   Team USA lost to Belgium in the World Cup last night. Joey and Nancy talked about the red card reversal for a player before the match.  Nancy has been Christmas shopping in the UT Hospital gift shop while her dad has been admitted there.   Joey Chestnut won another Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest, and Joey and Nancy debated how many hot dogs they could realistically eat in ten minutes. Nancy compared it to her annual wing-eating competition at the Big Kahuna Labor Day Festival.  Hot Tea: Luke Bryan says he has banned Blake Shelton from his 50th birthday party. Adam Sandler called the police in Nantucket to ask where he could play basketball. A Florida man was arrested for trying to pull over an undercover police officer.  Garth Brooks is going on a retro arena tour! Joey and Nancy had a great time at Patriot Fest this weekend. Joey admitted that he didn’t shower afterwards, even though he was super sweaty. Nancy met a family whose dog can ride a scooter.   Tonight USA plays Belgium in the World Cup and there is watch party happening on Gay Street.   Joey shared a story about airlines overbooking flights and wondered how much money it would take listeners to give up their seats. Nancy explained why airlines do it and admitted she’d gladly take a big travel voucher if her schedule allowed.  Joey called and publicly apologized to his twin brother after hurting his feelings over the weekend by teasing him about constantly talking about his vacations.   Hot Tea: Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce got married at Madison Square Garden on Friday! A ton of celebrities attended, Adam Sandler officiating, and Paul McCartney performed. Jon Pardi’s wife filed for divorce and asked for primary custody. A Delta flight was reportedly hit by a firework while landing in Chicago.  An 18-month-old child was mistakenly declared dead after a drowning accident. The doctor claimed the child was dead and sent him to the morgue even though the nurses said the child had a pulse.  Joey shared some info he saw only about Taylor and Travis’s wedding, including details about the venue’s transformation, decor, and the large charitable donations that they made.  Lucky 7 for $50 to The Diner at Twisters  Nancy's dad is in the hospital. She took him to the ER on Friday and found out that he has a liver infection. She spent a long-time people watching in the hospital hallway, specifically watching a patient that was surrounded by cops.  Dolly Parton posted a video thanking Taylor and Travis for their donation to the Imagination Library and joked about how talented their future children would be.  Joey has saved a bunch of money on his upcoming New England road trip. It’s the anniversary of Nancy’s “hell week” where her older son wrecked his dirt bike, her dog passed away, and her younger son impaled his foot. Joey also realized he'd been counting down to his anniversary with the wrong date and shared plans for a Boston Tea Party-themed anniversary stop during their New England road trip.  It’s time for Patriot Fest! It’s going to be hot, so remember sunscreen and visit the misting fans at the WIVK tent.   East TN Translates: The Declaration of Independence   Hot Tea: Are Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce getting married today and will Tim McGraw be performing there?
