Descripción

Male and female bodily discharges cause uncleanness and must be dealt with properly to remove the impurity from those who experienced it and anything else touched by it. God required a sin offering to cover the offense (even in unwanted emissions) and a burnt offering to affirm total renewed consecration to God. Leviticus 15 speaks deeply about the need to repent of all things that come out of our bodies, not just fluids, but attitudes, words, and actions that defile us and others. Thankfully, Jesus' bodily discharge of His blood can forever clean our filth when we repent and give it to Him.

Leviticus 17: Our Life Is Found In The Blood Of Jesus!

Leviticus 17 prohibits God's people to offer sacrifices outside of the tabernacle to demons or goat gods in the desert, an equivalent of the idolatry humans practice today when we trust in the dead and false religion of being justified by our works and not the sacrifice of Jesus. The chapter elevates the value of the blood by stating that the life of the body is in the blood. God appointed blood as the means of atonement, given in exchange for life so that purification and forgiveness could be made possible. You can't drink it. You must offer it on the altar for the remission of sins. Jesus, our divine blood donor, offered His blood at the altar of Calvary to save our lives, for the life of the body, the body of Christ, is in the blood of Jesus!
