3 Verses a Day
Day 28 of this daily devotional explores God's presence through Psalm 139:7-10, Isaiah 43:4, and Matthew 28:20. Loneliness might be one of the most painful experiences we face — it's possible to feel lonely in a crowded room, isolated even when surrounded by family. But what if you're never actually alone? David asks a rhetorical question: where can I go from God's presence? His answer reveals that there is nowhere in the universe, no situation in life, no emotional state where God is absent. God's hand guides and holds us wherever we are — this is personal, intimate presence, not distant observation. Isaiah records one of the most tender declarations in all of Scripture: you are precious and honored in God's sight. And Jesus' final words before ascending were a promise: 'I am with you always.' Your feelings of loneliness are real, but they don't reflect the truth about your situation. This morning devotional includes Bible reading, reflection, and prayer.
