episode Episode 63: Boundaries artwork

Episode 63: Boundaries

In this episode all 4 sisters discuss boundaries. The four of us read the book "Boundaries" by Henry Cloud and John Townsend and we discuss some of our favorite parts from it as well as our own thoughts. We talk about what our relationship to God is and how he sets and respects boundaries. And so we do our best to do the same. But it takes time to set and maintain boundaries in our lives. We talk about how you know a boundary needs to be set. We also recommend not setting all your boundaries at once. Start small and get the practice and courage to tackle the big ones. It's so important to have a support group behind you to cheer you on and reassure you that you're doing the right thing. Some favorite quotes from this episode: "When you have proper boundaries, intimacy increases." "Don't complain or blame others for your lack of boundaries." (both paraphrased from Brooke Castillo)

Episode 60: The Power of "I am" Statements

In this episode, the four of us discuss the power and importance that "I am" statements can have in your life. Talking as if you already are or already have something will help you achieve those things much faster than starting from a place of scarcity.
